Welcome Statement

EARS is the access request processing system for many of the GSA Staff Office applications. To use EARS, you only need a current and valid ENT domain account.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Applications are being migrated to a new access request maintenance system!
If you no longer see an application listed in EARS, it may have been migrated to the new IdentityNow application. IndentityNow will be the new enterprise application for access request maintenance.

Manager/COTR not Listed?
An EARS profile requires a person"s current Manager or COTR. If your Manager/COTR does not appear in the drop-down list, please send an email to EARS Support and include the following:

  Your ENT User ID
  Your Email Address
  Manager/COTR"s Full Name
  Manager/COTR"s Email Address

Some of the applications managed in EARS have access to PII data. People requesting these types of access are required to have the appropriate security investigation and complete the required training courses prior to being granted the access. Training courses are:

  • Cyber Security and Privacy Training
  • Privacy 201 - Identifying and Reporting Potential Incidents and Breaches

Managers are responsible for ensuring that associates they manage have had the proper security investigation and completed the courses prior to requesting access to any applicable PII application and/or role.
